The College of Pharmacy at OSU is part of one of the most comprehensive health sciences centers in America that includes the Colleges of Dentistry, Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Optometry, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine. It also includes five hospitals, two free-standing research institutes and a network of more than 30 community-based primary and specialty care facilities throughout central Ohio.
The College of Pharmacy is comprised of four divisions, all of which have world-renowned research programs that include collaborative efforts with other units on campus, such as the Comprehensive Cancer Center, The Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute, The Center of Regenerative Medicine and Cell-Based Therapies, Center for Microbial Interface Biology, and Center for Affordable Nanoengineering of Polymeric Biomedical Devices.
This approach of interdisciplinary collaboration is what uniquely positions this university for success as no other; its unmatched comprehensiveness enables OSU to solve problems of world-wide significance. The College of Pharmacy is at the forefront of this endeavor and with an endowment that exceeds $2b, OSU has the resources and commitment to have a lasting impact on our global society in education, research and public service.
